Lord Vadher
is a respected heavyweight in the international dub and roots reggae scene. Known for his powerful sonic signature and conscious productions, he has dedicated his career to uplifting underrepresented artists through his independent label, Svaha Sound Records, established in 2013. His work fosters an international network of selectors, producers, and creatives who keep sound system culture alive and forward-thinking. Vadher’s vision extends beyond music—he is a tireless advocate for social justice, using every project as a platform for unity and healing.
Together, Lord Vadher and Moshi Kamachi launched Shades of Red as an artistic and activist imprint dedicated to socially engaged works. Their flagship project, Children of War Hope, is a groundbreaking 62-track compilation featuring over 40 artists worldwide. This landmark release is a musical and humanitarian response to the suffering of children caught in conflict zones, with all proceeds supporting child-focused relief efforts. Accompanied by a powerful animated film, an illustrated storybook, and a limited-edition 5-disc box set, the project embodies the fusion of music, art, and activism. At Shades of Red, we continue to push boundaries—holding true to the principles of sound system culture: upliftment, unity, resistance, and the transformative power of bass and word.
